Description
A George III period burl walnut secretary with a broken-arched pediment crown and a two-door upper cabinet with later beveled glass panes. The interior reveals an arrangement of shelves, niches, and small drawers. The slant front writing surface opens to reveal three small drawers. The base section includes handles to the sides and three long graduated drawers resting on bracket feet, brass pulls, and escutcheons throughout. Handles are also present on the sides of the base and upper sections—late 18th Century.
