Description
Large scale George III period burl walnut tea caddy of rectangular form in richly figured walnut burl, the hinged lid opening to reveal a fitted interior with twin compartmented tea canisters flanking a central glass sugar bowl. The exterior appointed with cast brass ring handles and lock escutcheon. Original brass hinges. English, circa 1800
